Traveling to the Harbor Inn
From Seattle and the South
Drive north on I-5 to the Whidbey Island/Mukilteo Ferry Exit #189. Follow the signs to the Mukilteo ferry terminal. Ferryboats depart for Clinton on Whidbey Island every half-hour and the ride is about 20 minutes. Check theWashington State Ferry web site for seasonal departure times and fares. When you arrive at the Clinton terminal, you will exit directly onto SR 525. Follow the highway up the hill and continue north for 10 miles to Freeland (about a 15 minute drive). Along the way you will pass exits for Langley, and go through 3 traffic lights. At the 4th signal light (Main Street, Freeland) make a right–the Harbour Inn is just a block up the road on your right (directly across from the town shopping center).
From The North
From I-5 take SR 20 west (about 15 miles) to the Whidbey Island / Oak Harbor exit. Turn left and continue on SR 20, crossing the spectacular Deception Pass Bridge, followed by the city of Oak Harbor. Follow the signs through town and continue along the highway for about 10 miles to Coupeville. Continue driving south for another 17 miles to the town of Freeland. At the traffic signal, (Shell station) turn left onto Main Street, continue for a block, and the Harbour Inn will be on your right side, directly across from the shopping center.
From The Olympic Peninsula and Port Townsend
Take the ferry from Port Townsend to Keystone. This is about about a 30-minute crossing. Check the Washington State Ferry web site for seasonal departure times and fares. Exit the ferry and follow the traffic to SR-525. Turn right and drive south about 10 miles to Freeland. At the traffic signal (Shell station), turn left onto Main Street, continue for one block, and the Harbor Inn will be on your right, directly across from shopping center.
